Life is filled with many stressors, and at times, those stressors bubble over. It can be hard to keep all the balls in the air as we manage our responsibilities and relationships. When it seems that we’re at our lowest point, we are actually have the greatest point to bounce back; but it’s what we focus on that determines where we’ll end up.

An underdog is someone that’s not expected to succeed, often facing significant obstacles or challenges. They might be underestimated and face tough obstacles, but they sure do have some impressive qualities.

The metaphor of a pendulum can help us shine a light on how to deal with our own stressors in life and its related to how underdogs succeed.

Use Self Reflection To Help You Bounce Back

The pendulum gains the most momentum when it’s at its lowest point. That reality holds an important and powerful lesson for us. When you feel like you’re at your lowest is when you have the greatest potential to bounce back. When we are experiencing more than normal stress, such as after some kind of loss is normal.
