When I joined Medium back in February, I thought it would be a fun way to inspire others to enjoy nature, hiking and camping, but I didn’t expect to grow this quickly. This post isn’t to brag, but to inspire you to grow your readership here on Medium.
🎮 Gamify Medium
Being on Medium has replaced some of the online gaming I use to do. As a new year’s resolution I wanted to stop spending so much time on my phone gaming and replace it with something that was more meaningful. Now instead of mobile gaming, I spend time reading, writing, commenting and cheering on others here on Medium!
By approaching Medium as I would online gaming, I try to connect with, comment on, and read as much as I can throughout the day. I set aside a half hour here, a few moments there — when I would have been putzing, to instead learn new things, share ideas, and support others.
This by far is the biggest factor in my growth on Medium!
